Junkyard was born in the courtyard of an advertising agency in 2011 when I found this unique competition called the 48 Hour Film Project.
I have always loved telling stories. So, I read the rules and asked people to join me. After persuasion, several colleagues and friends came together to make the team. We had no fancy equipment and not much idea about the process. And we had just 48 hours to write, shoot, edit and submit!
After staying awake for 48 hours and somehow submitting it on time, we realized that we loved the experience.
Since then, every year, people from different walks of life join hands to participate in the competition. And sometimes, just to tell a new story.
